Veterinary Dosimeter Badge Service for Your Hospital
$88 Per Person, Per Year
Help Protect Your Veterinary Team
Dosimeter badges help you monitor the radiation exposure of team members who work around veterinary X-ray equipment.
Our laboratory provides a reliable dosimeter badge service designed to help veterinary hospitals manage their radiation-monitoring program with confidence.
What Your Annual Service Includes
- Quarterly replacement dosimeter badges
- Quarterly laboratory exposure reports
- An easy-to-use online account management portal
- Live customer care when you need assistance
- Dosimetry services governed by NVLAP accreditation
Each Badge Is Assigned to One Person
Every veterinary dosimeter badge is person-specific. This allows the laboratory to accurately monitor and report each employee’s individual radiation exposure.
- Badges cannot be transferred between past, current, or future employees.
- A new employee will need a badge issued in their own name.
- Each person who requires radiation monitoring must have their own badge.
Why Badges Must Be Returned Every Quarter
Dosimeter badges must be returned to the laboratory every quarter. Timely returns allow the laboratory to analyze each badge, prepare an accurate exposure report, and identify any unusual exposure levels that may require attention.
Returning badges on schedule helps maintain complete records and supports the effective management of your hospital’s radiation-safety program.
Late Return Fee
$50 Per Badge, Per Quarter
A late fee of $50 per badge, per quarter applies when a dosimeter badge is not returned by the required deadline.
Late returns interrupt the monitoring process, delay exposure reports, and may result in additional laboratory and administrative costs. Returning every badge on time helps you avoid these fees and keeps your records current.
